Hi Cranberry,
I guess u are really a genius in baking!! :)
I recently enrolled myself in a baking class at a CC too, hoping to enhance my baking skills. Well, I am thinking of getting myself a better electric beater (my old one is those hand held kind), so can you tell me which brand is better?
Tks :)

I'm looking for a cake mixer too and the handheld one I have is tiring for me. I came across I think a kenwood one (if not wrong about the brand) which I really like as there is a cover over the mixng bowl so nothing flies out when mixing. But all of them are so expensive? The cheapest is $300plus!. Goodness!
Hi Tessue,
I got myself a set of Kenwood mixer (those bigger kind). As for electric beater.. philips brand shld be ok.. i ve one at home too. I m so sorry as I m not familiar with other brands.
Yes singairishgirl, I m using the kenwood mixer too.. bought it during an online spree organised by a forum... abt $700 plus for a set.
Wow, that is very nice but I find it doesn't work for me as I don't have a large kitchen and as it is, I have tons of stuff so can't keep it anywhere if I do get it. N it's super heavy too. Kitchen Aid is great, but it costs a bomb.
