Christmas Bakes - Logs and Cupcakes

Didn't have much time to bake much for Christmas this year. Very much wanted to bake some gingerbread cookies and shortbread cookies but time did not permit. Well, I managed to do 3 Logcakes and a batch of cupcakes.

Baked a batch of Chocolate Brownie Muffins, frosted with chocolate ganache and decorated with toppers I bought from Taipei.

I actually wanted to make a log cake for Christmas but in the end I gave up because I had no idea what type of cream wld be ideal to frost the cake. Care to share your ideas with me so that I can have a log cake end of this year? Thx!
