Walnut Mooncakes

Hugbear's Walnut Mooncakes is one of my to-do-list in mooncake making in celebration for the Mid-Autumn Festival every year. Everyone just love the pastry crust and fillings.

As I could not get enough Walnuts this year, I twist the flavour a little by adding Brazil Nuts and Macademia Nuts respectively for my sec and last batch. So for this year, I will have 3 different nuts added into my paste.

The FIRST BATCH - Original flavour, Walnut Mooncakes

The SECOND BATCH - with added chopped Brazil Nuts in the paste..........

The LAST BATCH - with addded chopped Macademia Nuts in the paste......

Hi, Jes!

Yummy walnut moonies you've got, I baked several batches with walnut too, does it taste nice with Brazil nuts as well?
